Based on our field work with the Tamil Nadu coast and engagement with fisher-communities. The intention of the programme is to position the local natural landscape as a rich learning space, and introduce nature-based, outdoor and art-based learning to children of historically marginalized backgrounds. These alternative pedagogies are increasingly being found to create environmental stewardship, be fun and motivating, while also strengthening academic learning.<br><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p
